An uncomfortable question:

What’s stopping you?

Great, now please answer it!

Well, actually I believe we are mostly stopping ourselves. We have the tendency to tell ourselves we can’t do something. While we really need to believe in ourself and capabilities more!

Tell us about your brand or a personal project you are proud of.

I love balance, action, creativity and making things happen. My career has been focused on the operational side of Finance which means translating the business reality into numbers, making sure the resources are dedicated to the common goal and bringing everyone together to make sure we are all on the same page. It is tough sometimes but seeing the business success is the most rewarding part.

On the personal side I keep working continiously to know myself better, give the best of my while I‘m in this world and collaborate with every project or person my time and values allow me. I‘m a board member of the Women Empowerment Club of Esade Alumni and in my free time I try to help women that are starting their own businesses.

What do you love most about working in Finance?

Besides what people say, Finance is a lot more than just numbers. It is a big playfield actually, where you can build things and are allowed to be creative, using shapes and colors. I would like to encourage people to explore this fun side too.

Where do you find beauty and happiness?

I find beauty where I recognize my values and in the nature. I find happiness in the 3 F‘s. Family, Friends & Fools. Because without fooling around, life is not that much fun!

A success of yours. Personal or professional:

No matter what I always get up. Changing countries, loosing beloved ones, new job , a huracan… Sooner or later, I always get up.

A failure of yours. Personal or professional:

Not setting boundaries right away. I‘ve paid a huge emotional bill on that both professionally and in my personal life.

Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur? How did you come to be the leader of your project?

I‘m very curious and a doer. I don‘t consider myself an entrepreneur when it comes to business since I‘ve always worked for companies. My position is a trust position then I‘m always inhouse.

Can you name a woman who inspires you? It could be a mentor, a teacher, an adviser, a public figure or someone who is close to you.

My two grandmas. What they‘ve lived and survived , the generosity ,kindness they‘ve had is my inspiration everyday.

What was your very first job?

I worked at the bookstore my parents owned!

How would you describe your relationship with Barcelona?

Destiny.

Do you have a secret hobby?

In my free time, I love to bake cupcakes, pies and more. I love to be creative here too.

Any hidden talents?

Making new friends. That’s what I love about Juno House Club, to meet many other women to make connections with.

A social initiative that you want to bring awareness to:

Accompanying cancer patients who are alone. This month is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and I think it is important we all contribute to this cause in a way. Nobody should go through this alone. We all need each other’s support in life.

What helps you connect with yourself? What brings you back to your center and equilibrium:

Being alone in silence looking at the sea. It’s very peaceful.

If you could give advice to yourself a few years ago, what would it be?

Just f*cking do it, basically.

What instagram account can you not help but stalk:

Es Fascinante. They do Spanish slow fashion and everything is fascinating!

Do you have a mantra or quote that you keep as a guiding light:

No matter what challenges life throws at you, life goes on and you should make the best out of every day. Carpe diem :).
