What do you dream about?

Many things. In reality, I dream of pursuing my objectives and goals on a professional and personal level and I set a roadmap for myself. I follow the roadmap but I let it flow so that the roadmap takes me where I have to go. As one of my favorite books by Marian Rojas says, “he who does not have a plan is a slave to what is immediate.”

Where do you find beauty?

Inside and outside. Beauty is subjective. Diversity makes us beautiful for some people and not for others. We cannot pretend to please everyone. The important thing is to like oneself and to like those around us.

...and happiness?

Very complicated answer. For me, happiness is situations or moments, I believe that we must achieve a balanced and full state of mind to know how to deal, in the best possible way, with the events that arise in your life.

Could you tell us about your profession?

Currently, I lead the Teikei Legal and Business office with my two partners Andra and Daniela. My specialty is Money Laundering and Compliance for more than 12 years. Additionally, I collaborate with an association on a voluntary basis “Women Rising for Africa”. Currently, I am studying the course “Women and Leadership” at IESE and I am developing a new project “Coming Soon”.

A success of yours. Personal or professional:

I have been able to adapt to personal and professional changes during confinement. I don’t forget it because for me it was a very hard stage in solitude. After that situation, I made many changes in my life.

A failure of yours. Personal of professional:

I do not consider that in life you fail or fail. Failure seems to me to be a very harsh word, as if there was no going back. I prefer to think that we all make mistakes and that each mistake is a lesson. We have to learn from mistakes and grow with them to move forward and continue to be better people and better professionals.

Have you always wanted to be an entrepreneur? How did you come to be the leader of your project?

I had always wanted to be an entrepreneur, but did not know how, what or when to do it. The truth is that it is a decision that I always had on my mind, but I never found the time and strength to jump and take the risk.

A woman who inspires you. It could be a mentor, a teacher, an adviser, a public figure or someone who is close to you.

To be honest, I have many women around me who inspire me. I have fantastic friends who are great entrepreneurs and professionals. Each of them inspire me and I admire them. Likewise, as this is a month in which the International Day of Entrepreneurial Women is celebrated, I believe that the simple fact of making the decision to undertake is a sign of courage.

What was your first job?

I started working at the age of 16 in the summer in a store in Sitges and then I gave math review classes. From there, never stop working and studying.

Why did you move to Barcelona?

More opportunities to work.

Do you have any hobbies?

I love yoga and meditation and playing with my dogs. A hidden talent I have is dancing.

A social initiative that you want to bring awareness to:

Of course, I would like to introduce you all to Lily (founder) and the entire team that makes it possible for the Women Rising For Africa project to continue. The bases of the project is to give the possibility of training the women of Kampala, to obtain a motorcycle driver’s license and buy them a motorcycle so that they can act as taxi drivers. Likewise, support is also given to women in self-defense class and family support. We are working to be able to raise funds and expand these projects in other cities and countries in Africa.

What helps you connect with yourself? What brings you back to your center and equilibrium:

Sport, Yoga, meditation and reading

If you could give advice to yourself a few years ago, what would it be?

Set boundaries.

What instagram account can you not help but stalk:

@ModernaDePueblo – fashions change, posture remains.

Do you have a mantra or quote that you keep as a guiding light:

Whatever you desire, will come to you.
